New Haven, CT

Yesterday was a long, cold day. We got the kids up at the crack of dawn and drove over to New Haven for a 9:30am appointment. Aimee wasn't done until 1pm. And then everyone got carsick on the way home.

The doctors found 2 more tumors on Aimee- one on her neck and one under her arm. Good thing she starts treatment next week.

On the bright side, it's not yesterday anymore!

Will and Aimee, I send my love and prayers! I visited Dublin and it made me think of you guys (strangely enough) its got this great Bostonian feel to it. Tell the kids I miss them and I hope you guys are drinking some hot chocolate, enjoying a good or bad Christmas movie and singing some christmas carols. love, Cora lou

We hope you all are resting today and keeping warm. It sounds like Cora Lou has the right idea: Christmas movies, Christmas carols, hot chocolate, and good cheer--bright holiday things to wash away memories of carsickness! Jokes and warm blankets work wonders too!
We love you, we miss you, and are always praying for your health and happiness.
With our love and blessings,
Claire, Victor, Anthony, Nina, and Dante

Wow. Not the news we were hoping for once again. We hope to see you all Friday afternoon if that still works for you. Sending all our love and insistent hope.

The Cowans and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
Days like that are best left behind- isn't it great that we can?

Aimee,My heart is with you. I wonder if you are getting your scans at BI, as I will be there on the 10th of December as well. I can't find your number. Call me if you get this or write me at ddhagen@verizon.net. I still would love to meet you in person.

Hi Aimee,
Will's mom told me about your diagnosis. I send you my love, best wishes, and good thoughts.
I will be following your blog regularly so don't feel pressured to reply.

You have a beautiful family. My daughter Keya is just a few months younger than Tillie (b. Nov 2006). I think of you often, and of the good times you, Carl, and I had!

With lots of love,

Your friend,

Pallavi

Dear Aimee,
Christmas wishes do come true, and now I know what mine is for this year. And, since I share it with so many others, we just can't miss! (I had been trying to decide between a cuisinart and world peace, but decided both were realtively unimportant.)
Love,
Deborah/Ms E.
