No News Yet.

Still waiting to hear from NCI. They should be contacting us soon though. In the meantime, I thought I'd entertain you with a picture of Tilly. Notice anything strange about this picture (other than its poor quality)?

Ok, so it was a trick question. It's not really a picture of Tilly; it's of Aimee when she was two years old. We found it while we were cleaning up the study and were amazed at the resemblance.

She looks like Xavier with longer hair?
She's being a little doggie drinking out of a doggie dish?
There's a little doggie next to her (the black shadow just behind her)?
The grass is all dying in the middle of summer?
She looks like a little girl, rather than a baby girl?
Xavier is not in the picture?
She's dressed in white like the heroine of Wilkie Collins's "The Moonstone"?
She's dressed in white like Princess Leia?
She has found the "Secret Garden" and is enjoying herself in it?
Her hair is long and curly now, like her Mama's?
Please, please, give me a hint! My imagination can go wild on things like this (and I will miss the very thing that you want us to notice).

Love,
Chris

Hey,no fair; they have "special knowledge"!
Okay--is it that she's blowing bubbles (I thought I caught sight of a few when I blew up the picture)? She swallowed a bar of soal and every time she opens her mouth bubbles come out?

Is it that the lawn furniture isn't set up (a real reach)? Someone should be relaxing on it.

Is it that the sun is out, casting a shadow--and you all have been living at the south pole and haven't seen sun in a long time? So you now finally can see shadows?

Is she wearing her mother's, aunt's, grandmother's, brother's, uncle's, grandfather's, or father's clothes (do you all have nightgowns?)?

Ah, she's become a squiggly worm. Is that it?

You guys make this REAl hard. I hope it's something neato. Do the Alcarezes have a picture of Aimee in this same position on the lawn and you can't tell the difference between them?

I like the one with everyone in nightgowns, with great nightcaps (though that is missing from the picture). Please do a family portrait that way!

Love,
Chris

So do I, because it was already there when I checked in! I missed the whole contest. But I believe you despite the striking resemblance.

Ugh.....I remember it was a black afghan hound and technically he belonged to Mary Agnes (how come she got all the god stuff??)...and I am thinking maybe a russian name Misha or Sasha???

Okay thats all I got....except the dog was not long term...

Anonymous said...

That was supposed to be good stuff....but maybe the God stuff too....

Anonymous said...

I don't know about the "god stuff" but she definitely got the "dog stuff"!
Kate

meg and greg said...

Not to be crude, but what "dog stuff" are you referring to?

Aimee said...

So close...Kate, you could do this, but I guess I'll just field it. She was Natasha, or Tasha for short! Ok, points all around.

She got everything...including the dog! Just a little jealouly thing..LOL!!!

Actually, you're all wrong. That's the cat dressed as Aimee and the dog, dressed as a dog. And Aimee dressed up as a lawn chair. They all were very convincing weren't they?
