Just talked to the surgeon, and he said that the surgery went well. No problems or complications-- it seemed to go longer than the estimated 5 hours, but the surgeon told us ahead of time that 5 hours was probably a little too conservative an estimate. For a procedure such as this, 7-8 hours is the norm.
Aimee is in the recovery room right now-- and hopefully, I'll get to see her soon! :)
Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
For you have shown your mercy unto your children and led them by the light of your presence. We give you glory and praise now and forever.
We thank you for your healing graces, physical and spiritual, and the love you have poured out upon all of us, for your mercy and love endure beyond all other things.

Thanks for keeping us updated, Will. We're continuing to pray.

I actually drove right by that hospital last night (accidentally, because I was lost) without knowing that's where Aimee's surgery was. But on the way home, I remembered her surgery was scheduled for that day and said some extra prayers for her.
I'm so glad to hear the surgery went well!! Prayers will continue!
It's funny you say that, Tiffany. We thought we saw Sadie on the way to the hospital yesterday morning. Aimee was about to hoot and holler at her through the window, but I told her that it wouldn't be proper pre-surgery etiquette to behave that way. :)
