RAF 265

In case you wondered, we are going with what is behind door number two...RAF265. I'll start two weeks from today (we hope--I have to meet with the head and neck man about a biopsy tomorrow,* and work in the usual scans, checks, and balances). Mostly, besides a few long days in the hospital once a week, I'll be taking the drug in powdered form at home, once a day, and briefly checking in with the hospital for essentially daily blood etc tests. We'll do one round of 28 days, check my stats and decide if we go on from there. We met with my doctors today and signed the consent forms. The side effects don't look too bad and the work they've done so far looks hopeful.
We'll let you know how its going.
lots of love
A

* My nurse tells me the head and neck doctor is one of the top ten head and neck specialists in the country. I don't know why I need to know that; a biopsy seems like a pretty simple procedure, but at least we know that nobody biopsies like Dr. Frankenthaier!

Yes, but the question is, how does Dr. Frankenthaier make the tissue come "ALIVE". And once he does, will the creature be innately good such that we should watch out for corrupting it?

I hope God will take a virgin prayer because I am prepared to send one your way if you think he'll take it?

Will, Aimee, Xavier, and Tilly:

I miss ya'll so much already! I was just bragging to Glencora about seeing ya'll--haha, and shaming her for not coming for a surprise visit.

With love,
Veronica

Go for it Dot. I think v-prayers are better than old prayers!!!

Aimee, where did you find these doctors and do you think that they changed their names like Hollywood celebrities do??

The cruelty of all those letters trying to be numbers in Algebra really seems to be coming back in full force, huh? Geez.

Love,
Jess

We are certianly supportive of any and all decisions you make and you can count on our prayers (and countless others around here) that all goes extremely well! Your sense of humor is always a blessing-- we are glad your doc is the best :-) I agree with former posts, these names are crazy and seem like a who's who of doctor reality shows!
LOVE YOU ALL!!

Dear Aimee' and Will,
......... (Matthew 28:1-6) (caps and punctuation mine-hope they help!)
Thinking of you constantly... and these two words just keep appearing.
Love,
Deborah/Ms. E.
