Day 16

Busy, busy day. There's so many last minute things that needed to be done. We were running around everywhere trying to tie up all the loose ends before they could discharge Aimee. And then her hair finally started falling out today too. So she went ahead and had it shaved. And I do say-- she looks rather hot bald! :) (But NIH also provided a voucher for a wig, so we also went hair shopping too.) But everything's all set now, and we're heading home first thing tomorrow morning.

Thank you, everyone, for tuning in everyday-- listening, caring, praying. It made things a lot easier on both of us to know that we had so much support throughout.

Let's just pray this is the one that finally works. We'll find out how effective it is when she returns around October 29th.

So Glad you are going home to see your little ones. We have remembering you in our nightly prayers. The kids lovingly refer to you as Aunt Meg's sister. We will continue too. May this treatment be the answer.....

Travel safely great adventurers! We send prayers on the wings of angels that all goes well on the way home. We continue our prayers and good wishes for as long as you need them.Give Tilly and Xavier a big, juicy kiss and hugs galore.
(And for goodness sake, wear gloves, mask, and don't touch anything. You know what happened when you came to visit here. We DO NOT want a repeat of that incident.)

We are so happy for you both that you get to go be with those angels on earth Xavier and Tilly! I am sure you pull the bald look off magnificently, Aim and you could go for a platinum blonde wig just to mix it up! We are kicking the prayers into overdrive for sure---fight cells! fight!
We LOVE you!

Can't wait to see pics of the new hairdo! You might even have new hair when it returns. My friend had straight blonde hair before chemo and now has dark and curly hair. Who knows what you might end up with? How exciting! love and prayers. I'm sure the kids are so excited to be reunited! Kelly C.

Like I said before Aimee, a face like yours can carry any hairstyle. Hope you have fun trying out some new 'dos.

For those who don't know, Aimee and Will made it home fine. But, if they would fill us in from there, it would be lovely.
Hint, hint, nudge, nudge, Please update.
