Hi ho!

I started back to teaching this week. I'll be covering two sections of English 01, twice a week. I am happy to be back in the classroom. And no worries; I am feeling really well. And beyond a little fall cold, Will and the kids are doing well too. Lots of love to you. Aimee

Our prayers are always with you. Eat well, sleep well, revel in the love of your husband and children, enjoy all the things you do, and let every breath you take be a prayer of love, an expression of gratitude, and a petition for good health (which is what we are trying to do as well).

I don't have another poem about the brave and wonderful deeds of the heroine Aimee ready yet, but I think I hear in the distance the call of the muse (she always seems to visit when there's lots to do).

Love and hugs and kisses to all,
Chris and Bainard (+ anyone else in the family that wishes to join in)

Joy of the semester to you and to all others starting the academic year -- at the Pittsburgh, Baton Rouge, Worcester, Dallas, and all other outposts! I wish I could take everybody's classes.

Love,
Mary M. (Merrimack)

Dear Aimee,
I had hoped that your silence here reflected the quietude you were finding in your heart and in your home for the past few days. I had visions of you sprawled on a chaise lounge while Will read poetry aloud and the children napped blissfully in their beds. It seemed wrong somehow to interrupt that imagined solitude by writing. Now I see that you were just slogging away on class preps like the rest of us, so I feel completely free to barge in and wish you well- for the semester and forever.

Love,

Deborah/Ms. E.

Hey Ms. Cowan, this is Bill from your 10am English class--do we have a quiz tomorrow? Thing is, and your're gonna LOL at this, I was reading that Dickerson poet lady and didn't really get it. Also, I'm doing band practice next week, so won't be there. Oh, and can you tell me what's gonna be on the midterm, cuz I might drop if the exams are anything like you're quizzes. Anyways, I really enjoyed your class yesterday.

(It's not really Bill Aimee, but GM--and I can't remember my google password.)

...it's off to work we go! You're unstoppable, Aimee! I hope that the first week back was a breeze and that the rest of the semester is a joy (my fingers are crossed for a highly engaged and cheerful group of students for you this year)!

Love and hugs to all of you from the whole Barbetti gang!
