Day 4

Dear Family and Friends,
Here we are on day four already. For the most part I have avoided the chills, fevers, and nausea.
My lungs are clear and, while my blood pressure is increasingly low, it is not yet dangerously so. Overall, I am even more puffy, red, and tired than yesterday, and am a little bleary eyed but feel that I am doing really well. No problem, very doable, I recommend this spa. (I had no idea when I checked in why they all thought I needed this kind of beauty regiment , but now I am really starting to see that a ten pound weight loss in my face wouldn't be such a bad idea :) )
Thank you for all your love and prayers; please keep them up as they are really helping!
Ten doses down, only four to go!!!!
lots of love
Aimee

Oh Aimee, your sense of humor is simply amazing! With that kind of spirit, you'll be up and at' em in no time! Wow! A force to reckon with!

Our prayers are with you and you are in our thoughts all the time.
We love you!

Dear Aimee and Will,

Your steadfast faith and good humor are a real inspiration and a comfort that God really is closest to those who unite their suffering to His. In the preface of Fulton Sheen's Life of Christ, Sheen attributes his ability to write that book not to anything he learned through study about the person of Christ, but because Christ stood by him so closely in his own dark times and trials.

My lofty intentions of giving up coffee during your hospital stay has failed miserably, but I HAVE given up drinking alone at home for you...yep, it's great. When did you say you going home?

Love,

Annie

You go girl. Keep up your spirits. Remember, suffering is not for nothing. Our Lord opened Heaven, erasing the evils of mankind, through His suffering on the cross. And through your wonderful example, we are inspired to offer up our daily pains and worries. You are my hero.

Such blessings you and Will (who I know is suffering with you in spirit) are earning that flowers will drop from heaven, grace will flow as a river, the angels will cradle us all in the heart of peace. May these all blessings come back to you a thousandfold and heal you completely. From my mouth to God's ear--
Love, Chris

Hey Aimee in my opinion a ten pound weight gain would bring you up to minimum anorexic standards ;).

I know your hair is red- did it turn puffy too? LOL

Are the kids behaving or getting away with murder and being spoiled by the Aunties? Unfortunately I think I know the answer to that. With every piece of candy they are probably whispering, "Apres moi le deluge!"

Keep up the good work.
Love,
Mary A.
