Day #5

The effects of the treatment accumulate over the the course of the week, and so this is definitely the worst day so far. Low blood pressure, coughing, nausea, restlessness, itching, aching, swelling, etc. Aimee had to skip a dose today because it was just too much.

The good news, though, is that it's the last day of treatments! So we'll stay here another 36 hours after the last dose and head back home on Sunday.

We are in your corner cheering for you. Just keep thinking that all this Interleuken II is the Duke of Wellington and Baron von Bluecher battling Napoleon at Waterloo. Make this the cancer's Waterloo, its utter defeat. Keep thinking positive thoughts despite all the suffering--it will help the "medicine" work its magic in your system.
Lots and lots and lots of love,
Chris and Bainard

Will and Aimee,

I am constantly keeping you in my prayers. I am amazed by how much grace you two have in undergoing all of this.

I miss all of you so much, and I especially miss hearing stories about "niegel niegel" from Xavier!

With love,
Auntie Veronica
